&honey Melty Moist Repair Oil 3.0 100ml

A lightweight Japanese hair oil from our Sakura Season capsule, made for curls that heavier oils tend to weigh down. One or two drops smooth frizz and add shine without the greasy finish a richer plant oil can leave behind. This Japanese beauty favourite penetrates deeply to repair damage and minimise split ends.

The formula is built around honey, royal jelly and propolis, with rice bran and argan oils, hydrolysed keratin and ceramide below them. It spreads thin, absorbs quickly and layers over styling products without disturbing definition.It's light enough not to flatten curls and effective enough to calm frizz. You can also use it as part of a morning refresh, smoothing a drop through day-two hair to bring shine back without rewetting.

The scent is a soft rose and honey floral that settles within the hour.

Best for: fine, low-porosity or easily-weighed-down curls, 3a through 4c.

Is it good for low-porosity hair?
It is one of the better options. Low-porosity hair resists heavier oils, which tend to sit on the surface. This one spreads thin and smooths the cuticle rather than sitting on top of it. Both of our reviewers with low-porosity 4a curls reported no greasy residue.

Will it weigh down fine curls?
Not at one to two drops. Start with less than you think you need, and add more at the mid-lengths and ends only.

What is the difference between &honey Melty Moist and Deep Moist?
Melty Moist 3.0 is the lighter of the two, aimed at softness and shine. Deep Moist 3.0 is richer, aimed at drier and more damaged hair. For fine or low-porosity curls, Melty is the safer starting point.

What curl types is it suitable for?
It works across 3a to 4c. It is most useful on fine, low-porosity or easily-weighed-down curls, and least useful on high-porosity hair that wants a richer plant oil.

Can I use it on wet or dry hair?
Both. On damp hair it softens and adds slip before styling. On dry hair it adds shine and calms frizz, which is what makes it useful for a day-two refresh.

What does it smell like?
A soft floral of rose and honey. It is noticeable on application and settles within an hour.

How long does a 100ml bottle last?
At one to two drops per use, most people find a bottle lasts several months. The pump dispenser makes the dose easy to control.
